Following an open call this summer we are pleased to announce that Alex Frost is the recipient of the 2015 Phynance Residency and will be in residence at Flat Time House for 4 months from November. The residency will culminate with an exhibition and publication in 2015.

Flat Time House is pleased to announce the publication of the second issue of NOIT, FTHo's creative journal published in conjunction with Camberwell Press. NOIT–2, guest edited by Lisa Le Feuvre, Head of Sculpture Studies at the Henry Moore Institute, considers how burning, an action predominant in Latham's ideas, has been deployed by artists in various ways.

In partnership with the Barry Flanagan Foundation, Flat Time House is accepting applications from established artists for a residency to begin in November 2014.

Flat Time House are pleased to announce that following an open call of over 300 applications, Simon & Tom Bloor have been selected as PHYNANCE resident artists.

The MFI graduate award is a 12 month discussion and study programme based at Flat Time House. It is awarded each year to selected new graduates with the aim of supporting their development as artists outside of formal education

The N-U graduate residency is intended give mentorship to an emerging artist, as well as time and space to research and develop their artistic consciousness

A meeting to articulate a collective reflection on the contemporary role of the art institution in the current economic, cultural and political climate. The project is initiated in collaboration with Van Abbemuseum | The Netherlands, MOSTYN | Wales and Galeria Labyrint | Poland

Flat Time House hosts a project by three students of curating at Chelsea College of Art and Design presenting work by Nicholas Johnson and Haruka Hashiguchi

The Future Is Social explores the production of art through collaboration and participation. For two-weeks artist Sonia Boyce and post-graduate students from Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Art (University of the Arts London) will be resident at Flat Time House making social sculpture from everyday interactions. Through performance, discussion and the creation of art they will consider issues of ownership, the gift economy and the aesthetics of documentation.

Part of 100 Days, marking the countdown to the 15th UN Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 15) opening in Copenhagen on 7 December.

There will be changing displays at FTHo throughout this period, as works come in and out of the house for conservation by Helen Foster Spragge.
