Artist, archivist and archive Barbara Steveni (1928–2020) has been nominated for a Southwark Blue Plaque. From 1985–2020 Barbara lived and worked in her home at Anstey Road, Peckham.
Candidates with connections to the borough are put forward by Southwark News and Southwark Heritage Association for the national English Heritage scheme. Southwark Council has seen over fifty placed across the borough as part of the scheme.
