Laure Prouvost invites Tobias Collier, Julika Gittner, Tom Humphreys, Ken Jacobs, and Mark Aerial Waller to make a show in her show for one day.
Laure Prouvost's new work for Flat Time House was made during and after a short stay in March. In her exhibition all these things think link, narrative and text connect recorded images and sound to objects in the house. Prouvost takes on the role of a rogue caretaker, looking after the house and tending to the art works it holds, but invading and usurping at the same time.
In the same spirit, for one day, Tobias Collier, Julika Gittner, Tom Humphreys, Ken Jacobs, and Mark Aerial Waller will turn up in Laure Prouvost's show, interrupting, subsuming and pushing about her work to make way for their own.
LIST OF WORKS IN SHOWINSHOW
Tobias Collier will present Anthropos, a 10 minute performance at 6.30pm.
Julika Gittner will perform a work with her suspended life size sculpture, PCA #2 every hour on the hour from 3 - 7pm.
Tom Humphreys will hang new paintings.
Ken Jacobs will show his videos Razzle Dazzle: The Lost World, 2006, and Nymph, 2007.
Mark Aerial Waller will show The Champions, 2006/2010, colour, sound video projection, bamboo doorway, 60 min.
